In the dynamic realm of e-commerce, finding success often hinges on strategic partnerships. For Anson Pan, leading the US operations at ShoppeDance, the collaboration with TikTok Shop has been nothing short of transformative. Reflecting on their journey, Anson shares, "Our growth since our launch on TikTok Shop has been amazing. It's been remarkable since the very beginning."
Anson emphasizes the unparalleled support received from TikTok Shop, highlighting, that unlike other platforms where communication can take time, "we can get real-time support [with TikTok Shop Partner Center and] get feedback within just a few hours." This support has translated into tangible growth for ShoppeDance. Their team has grown from 5 people to now 20 and Anson proudly shares, "Since our launch, our monthly revenue has been steadily climbing at an impressive rate."
To get to this point, Anson and the ShoppeDance team worked closely with TikTok Shop Partner Center to "work directly with merchants, understand their unique use cases," and develop new features. Anson further elaborates on their journey, recalling the excitement of their initial launch on the TikTok Shop App Store: "I remember on our first day of launching our connector app in August last year, we had over 100 merchants and brands installing our app via the TikTok Shop app store. That's just from day one. It was truly rewarding to see such immediate interest and uptake."
But why build for TikTok Shop and why now? For some developers, it's about being early on a new platform. For others, there's the draw of zero commission on in-app purchases. For ShoppeDance, the decision was driven by the huge "opportunity to reach thousands of potential merchants and to grow alongside TikTok [Shop] as it continues to expand its platform."
You can find ShoppeDance on the TikTok Shop App Store. Their primary offering, ShoppeDance VeriSync, helps sellers connect TikTok Shop with major eCommerce platforms. They also have a second product, ShoppeDance ViralTrend, which provides real-time insights on product trends, sales data, creator analytics, to help sellers make informed, data-driven decisions.
